Extensively traveled all the five continents for project co-ordination, commercial assessment of new technology, due diligence and start-up and commissioning of newly built plants modernizing existing steel plants and marketing & trading of steel.
Served at senior levels in India and abroad in Integrated and Mini Steel plants, Tata Steel, Arcelor-Mittal, Kalyani Carpenter, Danieli, Duferco SA, and Retired as CEO from Jazeera Steel, Sohar, Oman.
Recipient of National Metallurgist Award from Ministry of Steel, India, The Metals Society, UK award for Best Post graduate Student, and Brunton Gold Medal for best Ph.D Thesis from University of Sheffield, UK.
